I offer in-person counselling and psychotherapy for people living or working in Chiswick W4 and the surrounding areas.
I also see clients for online therapy.
Thank you for visiting my site. I understand there can be many reasons you're looking for help from psychotherapy or counselling.
You may be struggling with a relationship with your partner, family, or friends, or be unhappy with how you feel about yourself, struggling with your self-esteem, your identity, or your behaviour. Perhaps you’ve suffered the loss of a loved one and are grieving, or you’ve experienced a crisis or some traumatic event at some point in your life that you’re struggling to live with now. Maybe you’re feeling unhappy with where you are in life and need help to find direction and figure out where you want to be. It’s possible more than one of these things are happening for you.

Psychotherapy can help with all of these things.

Sometimes we experience difficulties caused by events outside of our control, such as accidents, illness, or bereavement. The choices we make, of a career or partner, don't turn out the way we hoped or expect. This can lead to feelings of frustration, confusion, or a sense of despair. With problems like these, it's often not possible to speak with family or friends because there are complex feelings and relationships involved. Speaking with a therapist can give you the space to work things out and get clarity on what you need to do.

In person or online sessions?

These days, it's possible and effective to meet online with video conferencing for a session, which can be convenient if you aren't able or don't want to travel to meet. This requires good internet access and, most importantly, a private room where you can speak freely and undisturbed.
For many though, leaving the house and meeting in person, face to face, is a better option and can be more effective. It could be the place you live or the people you live with are part of the problems you want to talk about, so coming so a safe space gives you the freedom and confidence to be able to talk openly and honestly.
